SUNDAY’S SPECIAL SPOT – DUBAI

Nestled on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, facing the Persian Gulf, is the United Arab Emirates (UAE). One of it’s seven emirates (principalities) is Dubai, a place I am itching to see for its incredible and almost unbelievable towers. And not to mention those Palm Islands. I have not seen pictures of other places quite like it.

A thriving metropolis, Dubai is home to numerous businesses, industry, transport, oil and real estate services. It is the most expensive city in the Middle East and the the 22nd most expensive city in the world. A world class destination no doubt. I am enamoured by its sleek city stylings. Despite all the newness of Dubai, it does have extensive culture and historical areas to roam around.

The Burj Khalifa skyscraper stands at an astonishing 828.8m(2,722ft) with 163 floors. Astounding!!
